My husbands' grandfather was Yechiel Zadok ROSENBLUM Born: 1896, Zarki
Poland to Yehuda and Rivka Rozenblum.  My mother in law;
Ilana nee Rosenblum ( Levitan) was born in Chestechova in 1926. The
family came to Palestine c 1930. Yechiel passed away in 1965, in
Raanana, Israel. All his brothers perished in the holocaust ( I found
no reports to Yad vashem by Yechiel Zadok). The son of one brother
gave a report to Yad Vashem about his father; "Israel Rosenblum was
born in Zarki, Poland in 1894 to Yehuda and Rivka. He was a merchant
and married to Tzima. Prior to WWII he lived in Bedzin, Poland. During
the war was in Bedzin, Poland. Israel perished in
Bedzin. This information is based on a Page of Testimony  submitted on
28/09/1956 by his son Shraga Rosenblum of Tel Aviv."

They had a relative in Brazil by the name of Dr. Simson Rozenblum, Dr.
Rozenblum is the son of a first cousin of Yechiel. The family survived
the Holocaust by escaping to the Soviet Union. I think that Simson was
born right after the war (in Germany while they awaited their papers to
come to Brazil). The brother of his father
was lost in China.
There were other relatives who lived in a farm in the New York area. To see

Thank you for any information or advice,

My great grandfather, Szlama Rozenblum, was born in Zarki in 1832. However
there are no records for that year, so I have no idea what family he comes
from.

He moved to Czestochowa in the 1860's to marry my great grandmother. That
made two Rozenblum families there. Do you know how many Rozenblum families
lived in Zarki? If there is only one then obviously we are all related. So
Yehuda, for instance, would probably be his nephew.

Do you have more information? Have you contacted Dan Kazez, from CRARG. The
guy knows everything, or at least, knows where to find the info!

David
Thank you for writing back- my answers;
First and foremost I would like to give reports to Yad Vashem about
family members who were (in the  recording sense) forgotten by those
who survived.So "learn about all children or descendants" who perished
is first. It is a very late date to do it, but better late then
never.... My mother in law who knew something about them, passed away
a few months ago. She left a beautiful album of her Rosenblum family,
which I could post on the net ( I have done many shtetl pages with
huge amounts of pictures)
Before she passed away she told me "those are the Rosenblums, they all
perished" and did not want to say more. I know that Poland had very
good birth and marriage records for Krakow ( my mother in law was a
granddaughter of a Rakover from Krakow (her mother' mother) we have a
huge family tree for them) I hope that Zarki also has some records. I
know that there was a Yehuda Rosenblum who was married to Rivka and
had amongst other; Yisrael in 1894 and Yechiel Zadok in 1896 so Yehuda
and Rivka must have been born c 1870.
So I study the Yad vashem reports and try to find a connection;
