I have found details of my gggp's as being Israel Ber
and Dina RUBINSTEIN - both Russian subjects - and I have
been told that they had 13 children in total.
1. Chaim went to Buenos Aires in around 1910,
2. Zelig, presumably died in the late 1920's as his daughter, Dinah (1909-1941), was sent
to London around this time as she had been orphaned. She had two known brothers - one who had passed away and one who
was a Captain or Commisar in the Russian Army or a Customs Offical - names unknown. Two of Israel and Dina's sons were naturalised in the UK in 1914- On their files, their place of birth was recorded as
Chmitchim - which was then crossed out to Chamychy and that
was finally crossed out to Chamichy, province of Minsk.

3. Joseph -born 15/9/1878
4. Nathan - born 15/8/1889.
5. A sister Rosie/Esther, was born in Babruysk in 1894, and she
married in London in 1915.

I've found a Khomichi Zapol'skiye in Homyel, Belarus, but am
not sure if this would be 'Chamichy'. Any suggestions to this
place name would be appreciated. I also have photographs of
Joe, Nat and Rosie and of Dinah should you be searching for
the RUBINSTEIN name in Minsk.
